cod-liver oil

Has anyone here heard of using cod-liver oil for cat's constipation?
I had read in one of the many cat magazines of this rememdy. I think they said to use a couple of drops a day.
If anyone has used this please let me know and also how much. What else is recomended for constipation??

You can use cod liver oil, corn oil or any of the hairball remedies on the market. The oil you usually give a tsp a day until it clears up.
