I am not sure if this is where this thread needs to go but i have this fear of Yasmine choking when i give her treats. She just gulps them down..lol...not even sure if she chews them up!! But has anyone ever encountered a cat choking--- and if so-- what did u do???

Rosie used to do it with a certain treat she gets because their bigger than the other ones she has, but she never chews these ones properly either, so what i do is break them in half and give her them that way and she's fine.

I have one cat that chews, and two cats that just swallow. Those two chew only if the kibble is too big to swallow. I don't think there's any "normal" -- it's whatever the cat likes to do.
