Hello

Hello everyone,
I am a newbie and wanted to introduce myself. I am a medical professional that is currently a stay at home mom. I have always loved cats but have not had the pleasure of having a cat live with me since my KeeKee passed away. Until.....now I brought home not one...but 7 kitties. Well, one momma cat and six bob tail kittens. I found them a couple of days ago in a box that was taped up, and I just happened to hear the little meows. The kittens appear to be able 4...maybe 5 days old. Momma cat has her own bedroom that she shares with her kittens and seems to have made herself at home.

Welcome, and I urge you to get this family to the vet soon. That is always a wise thing to do with found kittens. I am glad you have sharp ears and heard their cries- I really hate some people some time!

Thanks, I am glad I found these precious little bobtail kittens. It is just hard for me to understand how some people do the things they do. I will take good care of the little babies.

Well, I doubted that I would be able to keep them all when I brought them home. I just wanted to keep them safe and cared for until I found them homes. My husband hasn't complained because I have been contacting people ...I know to be cat lovers... to adopt one. A couple of people told me that they would get back with me on taking in a kitten. I don't think my husband would go for me taking on all 7 kitties. He is an animal lover, but we already have two dogs who are cat friendly. However, I am keeping momma kitty and hopefully two kittens. They are so adorable....I am already attached....

Awww! They are SOOO cute! I second Hissy on getting them and mama checked by a vet soon. Don't suppose you live in or near FL? Bless you for finding them and caring enough to take them home.

Mercymanic, I do live near Florida. Actually, about a 45 minute drive to Tallahassee. I just read about your poor Moogle. I knew a wonderful vet that only charged me 78 dollars when I called him after hours at 10:00PM and he kept him overnight at his home...and that is after he drove out of his way to his office to pick up and check on the kitten. He was so caring and concerned about my kitten. I wished I could have been here to help, but with all the care you gave Moogle....it sounds like you did your best. I'm sorry.

Awww, those babies are so cute!! I can't believe how heartless people can be! I am so glad you heard them and rescued them. I agree with Hissy about getting them to the vet just to be sure they are ok.

They are sooo darling! Makes me so sick and soooo mad that anyone could do this to a momma and her babies! Thanks you for taking them in. Bless your heart!
