I can't help but remember the days when Harry Carey would sign this song with his foul ball net swinging and someone holding his belt loop so he wouldn't fall over the edge of the railing (he was drunk most of the time when he did the Sox).

Yay, the Sox just won the game! They are up 2 games to 0.

I don't even follow baseball, but I watched part of the game tonight. The White Sox ROCK!

They gelled at the right time. Their pitching and timely hitting should get them the title in 5 games I say. Oswalt is the only pitcher on the Astros I think can stop the Sox for a game.

Please keep me up on the games please! My family is jinxed. Every time we pay attention to a competitive event, the player or team we would like to win ends up losing. My brother has it the worst: many, many years ago we visited him in Tucson, took him out to dinner and was going to go to the greyhound races (before I was educated). He couldn't go, so handed me 2 dollars to place on dog #2 in the second race. The poor dog got halfway around the track (in the lead), then fell and had to be carried off the track - he broke his leg. He also bet on the Bears to win the superbowl in 1986 (the year they won) but placed the bet in pre-season when they were 1-3. His wager? To sell the house of his dreams in Arizona and move back to Chicago - the last thing he wanted to do and he ended up moving that year.

Last night I turned on the game in the top of the 9th. Sox were up by 2 with 2 outs and the Astros got a 2 run score. I thought - the family jinx is upon me and turned the game off.

So....long story - tell me what is happening - I don't dare watch the games!! LOL

Baseball - the World Series - the place where every professional baseball player wants to be in life. Chicago White Sox versus Houston Astros. Chicago hasn't won since 1917 and Houston has never won.
