Kitten Spray?

Can a six-week old male kitten be marking his territory in my house already? I've noticed that his rear-end stinks to high heavens today - much like my parents' cat has in the past. I don't want to make a big deal out of something that's not hazardous to his health...

Any help is appreciated.

Six weeks is too young to be spraying, so it's probably a matter of him needing a bit of help with hygiene, now that mom isn't around to clean him up. Six weeks is awfully young to be separated from his mother. Try using a soft wipe with warm water only to clean him.

No, it shouldn't smell that much at that age.
