We've been following Lola's story elsewhere and it sownds like she isn't doing well. The nastys in her blood are bean reel meen. So let us fold our lil paws in prayer fer her. I will have Rufus take sum special catnip tea to Lola, Leo, and their Meowmy.

Thanks for the catnip tea...I think it made Lola feel a little better. Unfortunately, Meowmy says that we have to help Lola over the bridge later this week. She is really skinny and weak and doesn't want her food. I tried to help by giving her a bath, but it didn't make her feel any better. Meowmy took me to the bad place though, and they said I was good and healthy! So Meowmy is so happy that she doesn't have to say goodbye to me, either. I'm a foster daddy-kitty, so when Lola goes, we will get to foster a new kitty right quick, because Mommy and her friend Jamie from the shelter and Daddy think that it's best for me and meowmy to open our hearts to a new kitty to help our grieving. Meowmy doesn't know what kitty she wants because she says that Lola will send us the right kitty when she becomes an angel in heaven. I think that she's right. I don't want my sissy to go, but she's going to make such a beautiful, perfect angel in heaven. Meowmy tells me that someday, we all have to become angels in heaven, and that we have to welcome change with open arms and look forward to the future, while always keeping Lola in our hearts. I think that is good. We are looking forward to a new kitty fren, even if this is so, so hard.

Meowmy Allie and you are very speshal, Leo. I know there are many wunderful kittys waiting for sweet Lola on the Bridge. We are glad tat you will be opening your home to anotter kitty in the future. Wen Meomy lost her Petunia, she was sad but a gud fren tolt her to tat the love dusnt go anywhere and it grows better wen you can give it to someone else. Tat is how she found me at the vet (my mommy was found just before we were born and we grew up at the vet).

Hi Leo. Sorry to hear about Lola. That's so sad but I am glad to hear that you will get to foster another kitty. Lots of kitties needing love.

I think I'll go to the TV room and watch some animal planet. And wait for Tia!

It looks like Meowmy will have to help Lola over the bridge before Friday, she estimates. Jamie said we can take a foster whenever we're ready, and Meowmy says that we might pick our new fren up over the weekend, because Meowmy thinks that loving and helping another cat will help both of us and be a good tribute to our dear friend Lola, who we will never forget. TOday, Meowmy put some non-toxic ink on Lola's paws and let her run around on some sheets of paper. Meowmy also took a bit of Lola's fur and put it in an envelope. She says that she and Daddy are going to spend the weekend also putting together a scrapbook all about Lola, with her fur and collar and pawprints in it. And alla pictures that Meowmy took of her and her papers and such. I think that it is a good idea that Meowmy has, and I will help her by knocking all of her stickers and cut outs and papers onto the floor and then walking all over her work to give her a headbutt, because that is the best way I know how. Maybe I will even lay in the middle of her work and roll over and purr and ask for bellyrubs. That always makes Meowmy smile a lot.

Yes, I will miss Lola so much, but I helped Meowmy decide that we should go ahead and get our new foster over the weekend since Lola is close to the bridge. Daddy just wants Meowmy to stop crying all the time! I do too! Daddy reminded Meowmy that I get really upset when I am all alone and I don't do well as an only cat. Meowmy doesn't want me to be distressed, and I have loved all the kitties I have met! Even when we were living with Old Roommate's cat, then when I had to stay with Daddy's cats, and with Lola...I just love other kitties!! I have never been on my own, so maybe that's why. Meowmy also loves all the kitties and wants them to be saved, and I think she will feel much better.

I already miss my angel Lola, and so does Meowmy.

Meowmy says she thinks you're right. Alla kitties in the world are beaufitul, special gifts in their own special ways. Meowmy says we helped her through so much and she is so happy to have us that she would do anything for us. And she did so much for little Lola, including the best thing she thought she could do for her

I have a piece of that angel food cake, and a large hot chocolate. Lots of whipped cream on both, Dougie! And a double chocolate for Leo.

We wuld luv to have a slice and sit wit our southern gennelmen. Did Dougie tell you abowt his new gurlfren? He met her at his uncles during tanksgiving dinner? Her name is Priscilla. He has been on a clowd over the last few days but is very shy abowt it.

Ohh Dougie you go boy!!! Getting a girlyfriend! You deserve one you are the sweetestest doggie I know... Ok the only one I really nkow but still nice. Can I get a big bowl of stew and a pepsi and a piece of angel lola cake? My ommy wants to know if her can have a cake piece too, no icing!! Her likes plain angel cake!
