Once again fate has brought me to kim! (Mabey Smudge) I have never been in this thread before, and was drawn to it tonight. I had not known it was today, so Kim, I am thinking of you, that was some special boy! For some reason I checked this out only to see that I had to send you love on this night.
When Smudge 2 was born he had a special place, chosen by a young kitten taken away from the people he loved so much too soon. Smudge 2 was meant to be Kims! I had decided to name this litter after lost loved ones here on TCS, (scamoerfarms Ares, Ilovesiameses Yuki, and Chance.) Last minute I had decided on naming smudge for Kims baby, he had another name I was thinking of. I had not been on the site long and had known nothing more of Smudges story other then he left too soon. I didn't know Kim or this cafe, or any thing else, I was just drawn to the name. So I believe that fate decided on Smudge 2 being Kims, he was born 4/6.06 The day Smudge would have turned 1 year. Not knowing any of this I truely believe that Smudge loved you so much Kim, he picked out a baby to his approval and made us meet. Why he chose us way out here in Maine and not some where nearer you I wont get, mabey he has a sense of humur

Either way, I am honored to be the one to raise Smudge 2 and have a kitten worthy enough to be smudges name sake. I am sending love on this night to you, Sudge is looking down with love at his wonderful mom (inbetween games of kitten tag with friends) I hope Smudge 2 will be as special as his name sake, he has some big shoes to fill!

Yes, it all seems to be a bit much to be coincidence, doesn't it?

Smudge 2 is doing a great job, especially today. For some reason he's been very close to me today, and more talkative than usual. And he slept on my feet the last 2 nights, which I LOVE. Plus, it's hard to be too depressed when you're running around trying to catch tipped-over vases, knicknacks, garbage cans, cat toys, etc, LOL!

Meowmy Jan here - Years ago we had two black longhair males named Shadrach and Meshach. (They had a black short hair brother named Abednego.

)

Mom and Shadrach bonded and Meschach and I bonded. Mom and Shad would sit in the big comfy chair and watche TV every night. The evening after Shadrach died Mom was really sad so I handed Meschach to her. He stayed in her arms all evening. He seemed to realize how sad Mom was. Before this, he would have nothing to do with Mom.

So, yes, some cats seem to know and help us through those rough times.

That was sweet, Meowmy. Now it's time for breakfast! Mouse sausage and biscuits, Dougie! And a frothy hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream.

Hi every one, I am new to the place! My name is Blueyed SaphireIce of celestialrags known to Smudge 2 as mommy. Please, call me Icey. I was lurking over my meowmys shoulder last night while she sent her condolences to miss Kim, and notice my boy had been here! I miss you Smudgie, you being a good boy and keeping miss Kim company? We miss you, but we know your place is with miss Kim, watching over her.
My meowmy had wanted to apologize publicly to Kim and her lovely family for having to wait so much for her new boy! She had intended to do so when she got her computer back, and never got to it, but after reading back in this thread, she felt terrible and the need to apologize not only to miss kim and her family, but, every one here in the cafe, not only did she have to axiously await the arrival of my boy, but you guys all had went through this all with her. We are sorry you all had to wait, get excited and then let down, due to circumstances that my meowmy couldn't control. I'm glad to see my Smudge 2 is so well cared for and loved even before his long journey to colorado cafe!

Hi, Ms. Icey! Glad to meet Smudge II's mommy. He's a character, kinda like me. I love to run around at top speed and annoy the other animal in the house.

Welcome to Smudge's. We're a forgiving bunch as long as your meowmy is nice to kittys and otter creetures. And we believe she is. Those puters are a pain in the tail end some times.

Meomy had to buy a new puter for her mommy because the one that Meomy's mommy had was so old it wuldn't hook up to the inneret.

Please join us for a cup of catnip tea. It is snowing here and we all cuddled up wit Meomy (who's home because she's waiting for the puter to be delivered.

Yep

I'm getting treets twice a day. Last nite was weerd tho. I got sick

and threw up. Pawpa looked reelly close at it before cleaning it up and Meomy took sumting from it and then a little while later, I got anotter treet. They are beeing reely weerd.

Karlee and I played chase today and I wakked her gud.

Hello Ms. Icey. I don't see a picture but I'll bet you are a beautiful Ragdoll kitty. My step-brother Jasper is a ragdoll and meowmy says he's very handsome. My little sister Tia lives with Jasper and his meowmy and purrpa.

Yes you are right - we all loved little Smudge 2 before he ever got to his new furever home. We waited, and waited, but meowmy said your meowmy wouldn't be able to send him until it was safe for him so we understood it was for the best.

We hope you'll stay around and keep us company - we love all new kitties here (we love the old ones too

Mommy's been real busy with work and workin out tryin to lose some weight that her lets me read but not post so much! Howler, in yur honor, we will bring some of our speshul cheese straws to the cafe tomorrow. They are crispy cheest things dat our meowmy tole us bout, and she makes em for us. All kitties here love dem! We hope you will, too.

We are bruvfurrs, 6 1/2 years old or so, and our meowmy gotted us at the same time. We always ben togefurr!
