Aw, dogs sick at shelter!

Dogs in a shelter, evacuated for a hurricane, have the flu. Prayers for their recovery, and that they can open again for adoptions soon!

Quite a few of the rescue dogs here have gotten it too. Mostly severe coughing. A bad problem for their foster homes.

It's hitting in pockets all over the country - I've heard about it on the east coast, where young adult healthy dogs are dieing from it. Since its often mistaken for Kennel Cough at first, some dogs aren't being treated quickly enough. If your dog comes down with any respiratory illness right now, get them to a vet pronto!

That is just so sad & unfair. Poor doggies.

What would be causing that???
