Im going to try and put a flyer up at my local animal hospital for these two stray cats, but I need some help first. I was told to put a pic of them on it,there story, my name and #, and "no bunchers". My question is how do I know the people are responcible that call, like how do I check up on them? I was thinking of involving my neighbor because I feel uncomfortable going to someone elses house to drop a cat off, mabye she could do that for me she has offered before.
These cats are not fixed or have never been to the vet, you think people will still want them, I have a true, sad story to write on the flyers about them both. How can I get people to trust that these cats could be great pets. Should I say it's best to not already own another cat because these cats need extra special attention, or mabye dont put that? Any advice would be great because im seriously confused what to do in this area.

I would use the advice in the PDF called "how to find homes for homeless pets". You can find it here:

http://www.natewood.net/Rehome.html

You will need to have adobe on your computer, but they give advice on how to place ads and a sample contract to use.

Not a problem Keith...I understand your passion. But may I just suggest that you volunteer at a feral cat clinic to see other ferals who are being fixed and then returned outdoors. It may provide you with a different opinion.

There's no place like home
You want to be as honest as you can in the ad - positives as well as negatives. If the adopter discovers the negatives after adoption, they could just turn them over to a shelter or out in the streets. If there are issues with the cats, best to hold onto them for a little while longer to find the right person.

It would be a much much better thing to alter these cat first BEFORE they go to a new home so they don't keep reproducing over and over again. Who knows if the people you give them to will actually do it or not. Then you can charge a little bit more for their adoption to make up the cost. I really wouldn't NOT give them away for free, let alone not fixed already.

Ideally, that is true. But Keith is a kid, and doesn't have the funds to care for the cats. Maybe you could charge a $25 fee, and refund it once the cats are neutered?

My parents wont allow me to charge, I already thought of that idea a while ago. They have made this more difficult for me than it should have been, which is why I wish one of you guys/girls lived by me and could have helped out, I know you all would have gotten the job done and surely succeded.
