My neighbor and I have fed a male stray cat for about 2 years now. I would desperately like to find him and indoor/outdoor home before our bitterly cold winters arrive. He was just neutered this week and has taken to being indoors extremely well during his recovery. I think he is relieved to be off the streets temporarily. Although he keeps his distance until he gets to know he, he has alot of potential. He is very talkative, loves to be brushed and will sleep in your lap when asked. Please help this guy....I have 2 cats who, of course, do not like him and have taken to peeing around so I cannot keep the Big Guy much longer. He is FLV negative. Thank you! I can be reached at (315)463.9161

I would suggest you try to work with your local rescue groups. If you are willing to foster this cat, they may be able to assist you in locating an appropriate home for him. Additionally there is an excellent PDF called How to find homes for homeless pets. You can find it here:
