This is a bit iffy for right now, but I have lead on a great home for my foster baby. Jessie. I just heard from one of the our convent staff members that their beloved family dog died on Wed. They also have a young male cat, Cpt. Jack Sparrow, adopted from us last year, who is mourning the loss of his friend. So, they are considering adopting another kitten as a companion for him. This would be a great, loving home for Jessie, plus I'd be able to visit her! Since it's big decision, I'm not getting my hopes up yet, but it couldn't hurt to have some of those TCS vibes pulling for little Jessie. Thanks!

Good Luck, I hope it works out! It will be much easier for you to give her away to a friend.

Keep the good vibes coming. My coworker fell in love with the pics of Jessie and is coming to visit her tomorrow!

Thanks for the good vibes, everybody.

Lisa, Jessie's potential meowmy, came by yesterday to visit with her. Jessie was very scared, but let Lisa hold her for a while and eventually calmed down. I think she was a little disappointed that Jessie didn't warm up to her more, but she also understands it's going take some time. Jessie is scheduled to spayed on Nov. 12, so I'm going to continue to foster her until then and Lisa is going to come by when she can, along with bringing her teenage son and husband so they can bond with Jessie. She hasn't actually committed to adopting her, but there's a VERY good chance.

More vibes, please, and thanks again!

Well, it's a start, isn't it? And that's a good plan to have her potential family drop by from time to time, so she can get used to them and perhaps start bonding.
That would make the move ever so much less traumatic for her.

Actually, she's thinking of Capt. Jack and Princess Jessie! Jack is a handsome tuxie boy, so they'd be a cute couple!

I think if they are planning on coming over and spending time with her, the deal is very closed to sealed! How can anyone spend time with a kitty and not fall in love?!?

Princess Jessie. How cute. (I think they are SERIOUSLY considering taking her if they are already picking out a name!)
Good luck finding your forever home Jessie!
