I hope this is the correct place to post this!

I was just wondering, how much can an approximately six month old cat climb?!

Little'un has shown no interest in climbing and even has to jump on the chair to get to the table! So I was wondering if it was possible that he did climb my 6' fence into the garden!

I know that there are no low spaces for cats to get in as I secured them all and it has been working!

I hope someone will be able to offer some information on this as it's making me curiouser and curiouser!

It's very possible. The one thing never to do with a cat is take anything for granted! That's why we love them, and they drive us crazy. I've seen a cat jump from the floor almost straight up to the top of a regular door in the house, and while that may be pretty uncommon, I would never assume it's impossible.

You've seen my two on top of my kitchen cabinets, I honestly don't think they'd have any problem whatsoever with a 6ft fence (assuming it's wood and they could get a grip). Max is a determined little toad, he'd climb anything, Alfie is just easily led!

Trust me...Count on it! If he has his claws... and wants to...he can climb a 6' fence if it is a type he can get his claws into !

ha ha ha! Maybe!

I was just wondering, as this little one has no sense of balance and always makes sure he has two paws firmly placed before attempting to move the back ones!

One day, I'll find out how he came to be by my back door!

Max is a clumsy little devil sometimes too, he's fallen off of various things over the last few months! He always seems to be careful when jumping onto low things like the sofa, but goes hell for leather when jumping 5 feet onto the top of the kitchen cabinet or clambering his way up on top of a door
