Hey, new guy here. My wife brought home a kitten that someone had thrown away with there recycling. Unreal! We have taken the kitten to the vet and 3 weeks later, its an energetic furball and it looks like we are keeping him. She named him Pooh (winnie the pooh fan).

Never owned cats, but things are good so far. We are in the biting the ankle and wrists stage right now. Fortunately, Pooh also likes to sleep on my shoulder and nuzzle my neck.

Question - he licks my neck, but also does the sucking thing, tickles more then anything else, is this normal? Not sure what he is getting out of sucking on my neck.

when I had been given a younger kitten who wasn't weaned from it's mother properly she would suck at my shirt or sheets when she was tired for a long time.

The kitten most likely wasn't ready to be away from its mother yet.

Pooh sounds like a cute kitten :-) good thing your wife found him. :-)

Get Pooh a lot of toys so he doesn't go after your ankles and wrists (not a good habit to develop).
