On Monday, I was out with Tibby and Molly on their leads in the garden when I noticed someone watching us from the end of the drive. I sort of shuffled out of view and although thinking it was odd, didn't draw much into it. The woman was still there, I could hear her shuffling, but I didn't want to look again as she might have been trying to sell something.

Anyway, last night at about 10:30, I hear these meows (loud enough to come through the double glazed doors)! I look behing the curtain and there's this little black and white cat meowing at me (more like shouting) Anyway, I open the door and he runs in sooo fast, meowing all the time!

I decided to keep him in overnight as I didn't want to leave him out there (plus, fireworks started over a week ago)

It dawned on me that the lady may have dropped the kitty off....just a speculation, but I don't understand where this kitty has come from! I know all the cats in the local vecinity and I have never seen this little guy....plus, with his meow, I would have heard him from miles off!

So, he's in my kitchen now playing, eating and sleeping!

Tibby and Molly were a little fractious this morning, but they are calmer now (especially sinde kitty has stopped meowing for the time being!)

We have the vets at 5:30, so we'll have to see what happens!

I'll try to get a photo in a minute, so that you can see him!

Do you think he may have been an indoor kitty, judging by the way he ran into your place so quick sounds like he may have been scared of the outside?

Are you planning on trying to find his owner, or find him a new home, or maybe keep him?

It could be possible, but around here, it is very rare to have indoor kitties (not impossible, mind you!) I just haven't got a clue!

I'm going to have him checked up at the vets and see if he is chipped (maybe) and i'll have to take it from there! I would so much love to take him but as I mentioned in my H&N thread, it really depends on Tibby and Molly, my Mum's acceptance and finances....

Thank you, Emma, I'm pleased he got here somehow and wasn't out in the fireworks!

Under the cats, mostly.
I hate people who let their pets out with the fireworks. It's just cruel. Failing the chipping Sarah, ship him out here and I'll have him!

I know! Plus, it's not like you wouldn't realise it was happening - it goes on all day and all night!! Grrrr!

Oh I might need to take you up on that!

He is gorgeous, isn't he!

You could have a point there with the meowing - he sure is loud! It's a very sad thing if someone decided to give their cat away because he is vocal!
But I can see that as a possibility! *sigh*

Thanks guys! He really is making himself at home - much to Tibby's and Molly's disgust! They get concerned by the incessant meowing coming from the kitchen! Boy can this kitty meow!
