Cable & Java both had very soft stools when they came to me. the vet told me for Cable, who was only about 8 weeks, that was normal. Java's was not - got even looser, until it was almost watery [by then we were at the vet's] - she had a bacterial overgrowth. after 2 rounds of antibiotics, she was still having problems, so i got her some bene bac, & that solved the problem. so if there's nothing else wrong with the kitty, you might try that.

Thank you, Laureen! Are Cable and Java both completely healthy now?! It really is great to find out all the options!

Not long 'til our vet visit now! We'll be leaving in about 35 minutes! I hope little'un travels a lot better than Tibby does!

I would also suggest you write down your list of questions for the vet. Often I forget all the things I wanted to ask until after I've left their office and am on my way home.

I wish I knew that before! I will certainly remember that next time - thank you for the tip!

We had a good appointment with the vet (and I'm very impressed with him now - he was stand-off-ish before) Little'un is well, he has no fleas, no ear problems and no signs of URI! The vet checked three times for a chip and no, there wasn't one! I thought he might not be as he is not neutered (although, is it too early?!)

The vet said that Little'un is approximately six months....if that! Poor little baby!

I had a look on my local Asda noticeboard for any sign of a missing cat and there was nothing - I also checked the lamp posts as generally there are always posters there.

I'm going to keep and eye out and chat to the shops about putting in a notice - i'm not handing this baby to just anyone!!

I am going to have to phone the vet tomorrow about kitty's poop, but this afternoon, it was a little more on the solid side than it was this morning!

Thank you all for your hwlp and support, I really do appreciate it!

Don't you just love how they move in on you? I'm glad to hear the vet gave him a clean bill of health. Good luck with finding his home, or giving him a new one, whatever the case may be.

They sure do sneak into your heart - I'm sure they have all have a PhD in Making Humans Love You with a minor in Picking Out The Soft Touch Humans!

Thank you for the luck, I think it's going to be a tough job, either way!

Juat a little quick update to say that Little'un's poop is now looking a lot more solid! I think the kitten food and regular feeding is helping him a lot!

He is doing really well as far as health and things go, it's just that he's getting impatient about seeing the other side of the door! (I have posted my questions in Behaviour)

Still no sign of his Meowmy, but i'm going to give it more time!
