lol I was just out getting coffee with my boyfriend, and my partner for an upcoming retreat called (he's a big Astros fan) during the last run. I saw the guys behind me go crazy, then heard Daniel, and then the phone went dead.
I figured something good had just happened.

I'm glad my prediction came true, I wanted to see a White Sox and the Astros in the World Series.
Sorry Candie, but I want the Sox to win the Series. Last time they won the WS was in 1917, and I want to see them win it. I just want the Cubs fan to suffer watching the White Sox celebrating a Championship.
Good Luck to them though, it's going to be a great series. Both teams have great pitchers. I still can't believe the White Sox pitchers pitch 4 complete games in the ALCS. That's incredible!

Now don't get your hopes up too much. Other than the '86 Bears, most Chicago teams are brilliant at clutching defeat out of the jaws of victory.
I'm not only a Chicago native, but born and raised on the south side in Sox territory. I lived in Beverly at the end of the El line and road the train to lots of games in the old Commisky Park.
This could be a good TCS rivalry around these games!

I guess I should be offended since I live on the North Side? Except that my family lives in South Shore, Hedgwisch, Hyde Park and Pilsen/Little Italy, so maybe I AM more of a South Side girl!
