Deer Smudge--
We reely goin miss you. Our meowmy cryed wen she herd bout you and we went to her and hugged her, but she still sad.
Now yer at da bridge wif Mouse, and little Belle Star too. Meowmy sez you should say hi to her speshul kitty friend Katy, too. We know you gone but we thinks, somehow you can still heer us so dats why we typin dis letter to you. To Smudge's hooman meowmy we send purrs and head butts and wish we could be dere to help make u feel better. We always loved Smudge's speshul stories in dis thread and even tho we haven't writtun a Kitty Chronuculls in awhile we gonna write a speshul Halloween thred dis weekend and dedicate it to you, our friend Smudge who we miss.

Precious baby Smudge, we love you so very much. Mommy is crying as she types this and says her heart absolutely aches for the pain your Mommy must feel having to let you go. We know you are in perfect health now in Heaven, and you will be forever loved and cherished.

This is Kim. Yes, that is Nicole in those pics. Smudge & Nicole have something in common with those eyes, huh? (When she was a baby, people in parades used to stop and point at her, rather than the other way around!)

Thank you; funny story I like to tell:

We went to the doctor's office - Nicole must've been younger than 2 1/2 since we moved from that city when she was 2 1/2. Anyway, the nurse said, "What a beautiful little girl, she must look like her father!" Well, I'm sure she didn't mean it that way, but it was pretty funny!

Sometimes my mouth opens before the brain engages and it isn't always pretty!

On my first date with my husband, I accidentally elbowed the waiter in a very tender area as I didn't know he was so close beside me chair. I apologized and the waiter said, "no hard feelings" to which I immediately replied, "you're right - there weren't".

After the waiter left, my husband asked why I said that and I had no answer for him - it just happens.

Hello Meowmy Bobbie! Me and Tigger are pretty good. Everyone got all excited cause Tigger threw up, but Meowmy sez cats go in reverse pretty easy, so it's probably nothing. Nicole is good, she's havin a party tonite an she's all excited. Meowmy Kim ok - she cried about Smudge last night, and she was disappointed cause she thought she was done cryin. But party will be fun - it's a Halloween party wif lots a teen age girls!
