Ok hi I'm new and I read the sticky on agressive behavior but I didn't find what I was looking for.

I just gave both of my kittens baths for the first time (Well the tabby had alread y had one once but this is THEIR first time) any way after I dried them off they were licking each other and I left to change the litter box but when I came back they were growling and hissing at each other. What's going on?

Well, congratulations on giving your cats a bath and being able to type after!
I tried that twice with Zakk. The second time my husband wore rubber gloves. In about two seconds he wasn't wearing them, they were in pieces.

Anyway, what may have happened is that they don't recognize eachother b/c their individuals smells washed away. Try putting them on a familiar piece of furniture individually that each of their smells are on, such as a cat bed. If the agression continues you may need to follow the steps for introducing new cats, which I'm sure can be found on this board.
