Pink Eye?

Does anyone know the symptoms of Pink Eye?

For the past 2 days my eyes have been so itchy, red and watering like every 2 seconds. I have also develeoped a cold, so I didn't know that maybe since I have a cold that maybe my eye problems were just from my cold. My eyes hurt so bad that I can't even wear my contacts!

If anyone is knowledgeable about this, any info would be much appreciated. I really dont want to spread pink eye around work!!

If you suspect pink eye, get thee to a physician immediately. It can be halted with topical solutions/eye drops...there is apparently over the counter stuff but I don't play with that. You want the heavy duty prescription stuff that you see results immediately (pun intended).

I had pink eye about 9 years ago, and I would never want to wish that on anyone. It is extremely contagious, so you are right to not want to spread it around the office. Take a sick day and visit your DR.

Oh and if you have disposable lenses, you might want to throw this pair out and start with a fresh pair...AFTER You get topical solution. Or wear your glasses for a couple of days, but disinifect the heck out of the lenses you have if not disposables!!!!

I really hope its not pink eye, I don't have any allergies so its not like thats it or something....I have had pink eye when I was little, thats the only time!
