I was out this morning, and the sun was breaking through the clouds, sending out some gorgeous rays. That made me smile.

I'm jealous! I haven't seen the sun in about 2 weeks (lousy weather!!) It's starting to really affect my energy level.

On the bright side (since this is the happy thread), I got an essay back today... got an A-
Not bad since I was really sick the week before handing it in and didn't work on it as much as I wanted.

I found out that "Priscilla" a little baby girl rescue I brought-in to my Humane Society was adopted this week. I am so happy that she doesn't have to live a feral life and that someone walked-into the adoption center & picked "HER"!! Hoping she lives a long, happy life filled with love & kindness

The black Labradoodle puppy that we wanted to get to be friends with Ruby - the breeder has offered him to us for $200 instead of $800 because he is 13 weeks old and they have been unable to home him as he's getting so big. We're going to get him I think - he's SOOOO gorgeous and we love him!!!!

I've just been told I've been given 11 days holiday and only using up 5 actual A/L!! Whoopie!!

getting all my housework done yesterday makes me very happy! (even though I know that since Brad's off today and the house will be trashed again!

The thing that made me smile today was that John found out that he got the new job that he applied for

We are so excited, its more money, more hours, lots of overtime, and great benefits.

I think this will have me smiling for a few days

Oh yeah, and tomorrow my mom, aunt and my mom's friend are coming to stay with me and John for the whole weekend, I can't wait for them to get here tomorrow, I've been smiling about that all day too!

Its a double whammy smile day for me!!

I'm happy that I woke up this morning and felt better than I have in the past few days! I woke up on Tuesday with an awful cold, and have felt miserable ever since until today, feeling a bit more human!

I'm off at 10am today (have some comp time left from working last Saturday), and after a trip to the gyno (yuck), I get to start a nice, long weekend by meeting my mom at the annual Greek Festival for lunch! Color me happy!
