So it is time to introduce ourselves.
It is so funny to get called a kitten although my cat Murelino is quite an old boy. This is the ninth year of his adventurous life. I didn’t raise him, he just chose me as his supporter and carer.
The problem was that his previous masters (my neighbors) just didn’t feed him.
They still do so with all their animals and two chained dogs have already died starving. (as I live in the Baltic states, particularly Latvia, police is absolutely ignorant to this, ‘cause they “have to save peoples’ lives not bother about animals)
As the cat was not chained, he just ran away from there … to me. Now he is 4 years with me and I am very happy that he is in my life. He is like a member of our family and a great personality.

And one more thing I wanted to tell – this cat site is really great and I already have the great welcome feeling. Thanx

Hi there!!

Nice to have you on board. Post some pictures of your kitty soon, we'd all love to meet him.
It's very nice of you to take him in away from his abusive masters... Such people are just so irresponsible!

Anyway, I hope you have fun here

Thanks guys, this forum is really phantastic. Now I am "fighting" with Murelino to get a picture of him.
He really hates all kinds of taking photos, so you'll have to wait a bit...

Hello, Murelino, and welcome to the site! Isn't this a fantastic site for all of us cat-people?! It's great to have you here--all the way from Latvia, wow! BTW--your English is excellent!! And you were so kind to rescue your poor kitty from those awful neighbors of yours--it's unreal how cruel some people can be, why do they even take in pets if they're only going to ignore and abuse them???
And your country isn't the only one to act like animals' lives just aren't important--such a STUPID attitude to take, and also foolish, because often people who are cruel to animals are also cruel to human beings. I guess some people are just clueless--they don't seem to understand that our babies have feelings and needs and insecurities just like we do! Anyway, your kitty got very very lucky when you took him in and gave him a wonderful home--good for you!
My kitty Amber is also 9 years old but don't try telling her she's any kind of "senior citizen"--she still thinks she's a kitten (she even chases her tail still!!). Give your kitty a big hug for me and tell him to please let you take a nice photo of him--we want to see how handsome he is!!

Thanks for great compliments about my English
Doing my best

By the way I have always thought that in the countries which are more developed than Latvia there are not such problems with concernment to our little brothers.
I guess I'll learn a lot here about other countries and their attitudes to animal protection.
It's great that your Amber is still young in her mind. My Murelino sometimes "remembers" what it is like to be young and plays with his artificial mouse. But most of the time he's very smooth tempered and serious in his everyday pace.

I'm quite a dummy considering computers
and it took me some time while I understood how to attach a picture of my pussy. He looks quite angry, because he really hates my camera. So here he is:
