I'm about 2 miles from Hunter Army Airfield, where my main office is located, so that commute is only about 5 minutes (which is good when I'm on-call and have to get to a scene after-hours!).

But, on the days that I have to drive down to Ft. Stewart, it's about an hour long commute each way
.

ok, it's 8.9 miles. funny, yahoo thinks it takes 14 minutes... maybe that's when you obey the speed limit!

I WALK 4 blocks to work (that's half a mile). It takes about 5-7 minutes, but I give myself 10 in case I'm dragging.

My car, on teh other hand, sits in a driveway in suburbia and only gets used for trips outside of the realm of pedestrianism/public transport.

I drive to work but I want a scooter because it takes me 3 minutes to get here. I live 1 1/2 miles from my office.

I'm about an hour or so east of Geneva - right at the other end of the lake in a town called Montreux....

My line of work has me on the road all the time so it's hard to say on a daily or weekly basis. I usually put on about 70,000 miles per year.

Before we moved it used to take about 25 minutes. Now it takes about eight. Which is great. I can walk to work, too, in about 45 minutes. I get to walk past a beautiful lake right on the outskirts of the city - it is stunning! It's a conservation area so there is so much beautiful birdlife. I love walking to work.

It's getting hotter now, and they said this morning that Perth's going to have it's hottest summer yet, so walking to work won't be too good on 40 degree days (lol) but now during Spring it's heavenly.

14 miles each way. But I drive a delivery truck, so I typically log another 150 or so miles each day once I get to work.

I commute 25 miles each way. Depending on the time of day, and the day itself, it can take anywhere between 30 minutes and 90 minutes.

The new job has almost halved my drive, to 6 miles. Takes me about 15 minutes and I don't have to get on the freeway.

We live just under 15 km from my workplace -- I know that because 15 km is the cutoff point for the next higher class of auto insurance, and I checked it just to be sure. On a normal day it takes 20-25 minutes one way.

About 40-45 minutes of Highway driving and nothing to see but flat, flat, flat fields and in the winter... snow. Ick!
