Actually how much do you think a Taxi would cost to get you to Tallahassee and back cost you? I know you said a lot but do you have any idea of the actual cost?
Prolly between 40 and 60. I hope I doesn't come to that. I just gave him a teeny little enema. I hope that gets him going poo in the next few min.

So $60 is that for a round trip or one way?

I hope the enema gets things going I am sure once he goes he will be back to eating. Poor little thing.

Please be careful with kitty enemas they are so delicate at this age and those enemas are so hard on them.
It is quite possible the round worms are causing the obstruction and if so an enema isn't going to help much. The worms will kill a small kitten. I hope you can get the baby to a vet quickly.

I'm being very careful, My poor little Moogle-whee. The good news is I got a good bit of formula and pedialyte in him just now, and he's keeping it down (yay!). I'm giving him a chance to rest a bit now, he's exhausted not getting the usual amount of food and me fussing over him has deprived him of much needed sleep and strength. In about an hour my boss gets home and we are taking him to the vet then, STAT.

Emma, bless you for trying to help Moogle. I won't forget.
Keep us in your prayers I really do think it's helping

Jim just left with him headed for Allied Veterinary Hosp. They open at 6. I wanted to go too, but His truck is a two seater and we have his 5yr old son too. So I stayed here to watch Connor and wait for them to call me.

We are ALL here waiting with you. You are to be commended for your care and concern and love for this small fragile life. Many would have given up by now- so kudos to you for hanging in there and keeping this little one alive. He is lucky he has found you-

I recently went through something not too different with one of my fosters. I'm really crossing my fingers for you. You've done a great job.

I'm grateful to all of you for caring so much.

I'm terrified they will call me and say that they are putting him down. They wouldn't do that would they? He's still strong enough to get up and walk he just won't suckle.

I hope to god it's good news. If it isn't I'm gonna completely fall apart.

You hang in there and keep those negative thoughts away. Oftentimes it is the formula binding up inside the kitten causing a large almost impassable obstruction. Once that hard stool is removed by expert hands, then the kitten can easily rebound. Just because one kitten from the litter has passed on, does not mean that Moogle is going to follow in those footsteps- keep the faith and the hope alive in your heart.
