Whoo, someone left me pudddles of....I think it was diarrhea. Certainly smelled like it. I have no idea yet who the culprit was, since I was gone for about three hours this evening. Chay just finished his round of antibiotics for being stuffy, so I'm hoping it might just be a side effect, though he never had any problems while I was giving it to him earlier. Otherwise, I just gave them both their first dose of Heartgard, could that be the problem? Doesn't look like they got into anything around the house. Of course I'm going to keep an eye on both of them to see if anyone shows symptoms of anything. Any ideas? Both boys seem to have had a slight upper respiratory infection and just finished treatment.

I don't know if their breeder ever gave it to them before. This is the first time I've given it to them though. I gave it at about 9 this morning though, and there was no mess before 7 this evening.

I think that is a side effect of heartgard. Call your vet in the am to double check!

Oy, culprit might have been found. Chay just threw up some yellow foamy stuff (along with some pieces of cat grass) on my couch. Do you still think it might be the Heartgard? Maybe that last dose of azithromycin? Or could a URI lead to vomiting or diarrhea?

That certainly sounds the same, but they had both just finished a round of antibiotics so I had hoped that they were done with URIs. Guess I'll still be calling the vet in the morning. :p
