Little ouches that hurt A LOT!!!

Ok, so far today I have jammed my little finger in the step-ladder (and the worst thing is I knew I was going to do that before it happened!!).

I just then gave myself the biggest paper cut the world has ever seen.

Five minutes ago I walked into the cupboard door my boss left open and cracked my head.

It's always that small things that frustrate you the most, isn't it??

Like when you catch your little toe on the edge of the bed or accidentally rip off a cuticle!

Anyone else got some small cruel and unusual punishments they'd like to share??

Hiccups are what get me. After a while they hurt besides being annoying!

I used to get tons of papercuts when I worked for Hallmark. I called it an occupational hazzard. DH broke his little toe stubbing it before. Ever noticed that once you bite your cheek you end up doing it several times before it heals? I do anyway!

Ouch!

I burned my tongue yesterday. You just know something is hot, but you try it, anyway and OUCH! Duh!

Haha - yes, that is what happened this morning with the ladder. I was like, `I know if I try to fold this up by sticking my hands in the hinges to unhook them, I am going to squish my finger'. And so I did it anyway, and Voila!! - squished my finger...

canker sores are the WORST!!

I had a fun day two weeks ago.... First I tripped on part of the reception counter (a depressed area that the cat carriers can go on) while heading to lock the front doors. Two bruises on my shins. >.< Then while I'm at the store that night I kneel to get something on the bottom shelf, then stand up *into* the cart, nearly breaking my nose (I'm still tender on the bridge of my nose. ;_ And then when I was walking around barefoot I stepped on some glass. >.< Twas the day of stupid injuries.

Ouch you poor thing!! About 12 years ago when I was working in a bar on New Year's Eve, I had a message for one of the glassies, who was bending over a keg at the time. I said his name (kind of leaning over) and he stood up suddenly and the back of his head went straight into my face. I staggered back and whacked my head on the wall really hard - ended up with concussion and a broken nose that New Year's!!! I still get a bruised-looking area on my nose whenever I'm tired or sick...

Whacking your nose hurts more than ANY other silly injury you can do!

the worst for me is i got a paper cut under my nail....and at work i have to cut lemons for drinks it was like putting alcohol on an open wound...i cringed everytime i did it....

LOL!! I just did that last night!! My canine tooth went straight through the skin on my inner cheek!! OUCH!!

I do that too, and I bet most people do. Cos the stupid sores swell up to some ginormous size right after you bite your cheek... and that makes it even more likely to be bitten. Swelling is a stupid idea

I sat on a drawing pin the other day that I thought I'd lost when I was putting up a notice on the pinboard.

If you walk off when you've been petting Carlos or Bertram (MILs cats) they attack the backs of your legs... they jump and stick all four sets of claws into your thigh and hang there....

My hips tend to crack since I had a bad fall at Tae Kwon do as a kid....

hrmn.... oh yes, and smacking my head on open cupboards.

Ooh I agree on the sore nose bit. A couple of weeks ago I opened our fan to clean it and the cover came flying off and smacked my right on the bridge of my nose I don't generally cry when I get hurt but that had my crying like a baby, it hurt so badly. The disgusting bit was that it didn't even bruise! Something that hurt that much should have at least left some proof

Running your finger under the needle of the sewing machine....does`nt hurt nearly as much when you do it as it does the next day!
