Molly's food is in the main bathroom and her water dish is in the tub so she thinks it is HER room and gets very upset if anyone goes in there without her to monitor their activity! LOL

Sophie will do this, as well. Wrap around your legs, stand up and put her front paws on your knees, etc. Oh, and attack the toilet paper as you are reaching for it, don't forget! Getting out of the shower is a challenge. Either that, or I have a perfectly shaped calico kitty bathmat!

Well, my bathroom door doesn't shut firmly. Leo has figured out how to wiggle it open with his paw. I'll be...um...doing my business and they'll just both sit on the bathroom rug, staring intently.

When I shower , they get between the shower curtain and the liner and stand there with their little paws up on the ledge. If I'm taking a bath, one or both will sit on the ledge.

Just last week, Lola waltzed into the bathroom and made herlsef comfortable in my pants that were around my ankles!

Cupid stays in my bathroom with me and if try to keep him out, he'll dig under the door until he hurts him self. The door handles are the long ones that you just push down on, he can always get in, but sometimes if I'd like a little privacy, I'll take a broomstick and hold the door shut, but can't do that anymore because he'll hurt his paws.

He goes in there when I'm taking a bath and jumps on the thing I have that goes across the tub and keeps things dry. He'll sit and watch me shave, et cetera. I have a clear shower curtain (because of my irrational fear that someone will break in and come in there w/o me knowing...) and he'll watch me take a shower too.

I wonder what it's like to go potty without company...I can't even remember. I've always been a really private potty'er too!

Molly thinks the reason I sit on the throne is so I can scratch her back. Oh well, as long as I have one free hand.....

When I step out of the shower, she likes to lick the water off my legs. That little tongue sure feels funny!
Megan paces back and forth by the shower curtain when I'm showering, but she hasn't gotten any more curious than that.

LMAO!! This one had me cracking up. Our sibling kitties are bathroom buddies, too. They MUST be in there, especially if it's ME going. It's so funny.

I had a cat once that couldn't STAND to not be in the same space as me. She loved me so much...she was a truly exceptional cat. One day she decided that she wanted to be with me, despite my being in the shower at the moment, so she just jumped on in!! Poor kitty ran out so fast...making the typical surprised cat noise that they do sometimes. It was hilarious, and I laughed for quite a while, but then went and apologized to my beloved Keykat. Poor girl was so mad at my laughing...but I couldn't HELP it!! I had quite a lot to make up for with that one! LOL!!

Catsy is usually slower to follow me around. She'd rather take her own sweet time in typical adult feline fashion.

Wukong on the other hand, is a very quick kitten. He's also one heck of a bathroom kitty. Just 2 days ago, I opened the toilet seat to use it... but before I could even sit, he'd taken a flying leap and nearly ended up falling into the toilet bowl!!! Thank goodness it was clean water and that he managed to catch himself in time and only wet a paw.

Shocked him right out of his system for a while though
My silly little prince.

He also LOVES to watch when I'm cleaning my teeth or washing my face at the sink. I think he's very interested in the water. Afterwards, when all the toothpaste and stuff's been washed off, I will proceed to shower and he'll go right into the sink and lick the water

Then, he'll sit and watch me through the glass panel which separates the shower area from the rest of the bathroom. He's quite amazed that the water droplets which seem to be aimed right for his head cannot actually touch him

Under the cats, mostly.
Yeah Tosca is a bathroom buddy. She likes to get in while you're in the loo - but showers are a no, because in Denmark you don't have shower cubicles, the floor has rough tiles and a drain. Basicall the bathroom is a shower cubicle with a toilet and sink in it, if you know what I'm saying. She did get in there with Rune once when he got sick, but she left in a real hurry!!!

Pepper is my definte bathroom buddy, mine and mine only, she won't go with anyone else.
If I manage to get in there and shut the door before she comes then all I hear is outraged meows and her paws start shooting in under the door trying to flick the door open!
She use the supervise my showers but she doesn't anymore, Thank God

Hammie HAS TO be in the bathroom with us; if not, he bangs at the door, cries, sticks his claws under the door & tries to open it that way! To make things easier, before shutting *any* bathroom door (for shower or other duties), I call for Hammie and boom, there he is.

Zorro loves the sound of the shower. Him & Hammie keep me company while I'm waking me arse up every mornin. They just lay there & listen to the shower.

And Snickers; if he doesn't make it into the bathroom with ya, he will trill outside the door, stick them furry black paws under the door; if you trill to him, he will trill right back!

the girlcats aren't weird about bathrooms... just my boy cats....

I got a new cat recently and I had just her in the bathroom to keep them seprate, and you would have thought I had died the way CJ was carrying on. Howling at the top of his lungs, crying pawing at the door. It was sad. I felt terrible for him, but all I wasnt doing anything he hadnt seen me do a hundred times! Now that they both are together I have an escort of one in front of me, one behind. Makes me feel safe. They will wake up from a solid sleep to escort me. I love my babies.

And Jane Vernon - I couldn't believe that!!!
And some people think squirt guns are bad......

My boys have their litter box in there, so the door is always a little ajar for them. When I go, one will usually saunter in and decide he has to go too!

If you think about it, when you are on the "throne", you are a captive audience and have nothing better to do that to heap love and affection on your cats!

Guinevere (RB) would race ahead of you and run across the toilet seat to sit on the edge of the tub (within petting reach, of course). One fateful day, she had already fallen into the mop bucket twice (and bathed twice) when she ran in to the bathroom just as I was getting up from a messy #2, and fell into the toilet. Bath #3. That seemed to cure her of running across the toilet (and balancing on the edge of the mop bucket
).

Oh, thank god it's not just my cat being a weirdo.

He doesn't really follow anyone but me into the bathroom, though. Then he either sits up on the back of the toilet and gnaws on my hair, or plays in the sink. If I'm in the shower, he either gets between the two curtains or lays there on the bathmat and looks all protective, like someone's gonna walk in or something, haha.

Oliver and Emma both love to watch me shower--not my hubby, just me (go figure)--we have a clear glass stall shower so I can see them staring through the steamed up glass, they usually look like theyre saying "What in God's good name are you doing!"
Oliver also likes to follow me into the bathroom and likes me to hold him while I do my business, which is just so charming

oh, yes - Cable's almost always there, as well as Java - Pixel occasionally wanders in. they are very insulted when i close them out - i don't mind them there during a bath, but not during a shower, so i close the door. Pixel will meow in her most pitiful voice to be let in at those times
