When my Loki does this his either mad at mom for the moment or just not in the mood to be petted.
I would not worry about it too much.

Here's something about my baby Vader...

Since Vader was a kitten he's had this thing with his back.Whenever I go to pet his back he doesn't keep it stiff. It looks as if I'm putting weight down on his back to make him drag his tummy on the floor. When he walks sometimes he tries to sit at the same time.My cat Tigger did this to and some people say that lot's of male cats tends to do this.Do you have any advice??

Thanks so much!!

I don't think it's gender specific. It has more to do with the personality. Some cats prefer not to be touched or pet all the time. There are also those who seem sensative and don't like thier backs to be stroked at all.
