someplace so boring i am slowly but surely losing
Sorry about your vet's diagnosis, but don't they have chemotherapy and radiation therapy for cats now? Even in older people and pets they can be very effective. I have a neighbor in her seventies now that has had lung breast and kidney cancer and has recovered from all of them. She is fine now.

If it is truly untreatable, i am sad for you.

Thanks Joe.

I wish it were an option, but the vet said of course we could try it but she felt as with the surgery that it wouldn't help and the best thing is just make her comfortable.

I don't want to put her through all of that she just seems so fragile right now, I don't think she'd make it through any of those prcedures.

Thanks everyone for your good thoughts and prayers, Roo can use all of them she can get right now.

Yesterday and today she seems to getting worse, today she's just been laying around today and not eating much. I hope it is just a reaction from going to the vet and that she is acting more normally tomorrow.:

Hi Susan,
Roo seem a little better this morning. I warmed up her food and took it over to where she's beem laying and she ate about half of it. She did get up to drink some water, then went back to her spot.

The vet gave her some antibiotic in case her sneezing is from a cold/virus and not from the tumor. I hope that helps her feel a little better.

I really hate seeing my girl like this, it's just so heart breaking.

Thanks for asking.

Got Roo's blood test results today and her thyroid level has had a major jump, it's up to 7 point something (Iforget the point #) . So her meds has been increased.

She seems somewhat better today, she's sitting on the window sill, taking in some fresh air right now
