My friend of mine is a Tiger handler at the Scottbluff Zoo in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Anyway he promised me one day he would let me get close to one of the Tigers. Saturday he let me close to his HUGE white Bengal Tiger.
The Tiger was sitting down nice and calm and he let me pet him. Oooooooooooh man you guys would not believe how ripped this Tiger was. Hoooooly cow!!! There was no fat on this big guy.

You can't possibly get a real good clue on how big Tiger really are until you see one up close. WOW!! You guys should have seen the size of this Tigers paws!! He had 5 inch fangs!!! His front quarters looked like he was a Mr. Olympia. Just a gorgeous creature. He had a real shiney coat with really black stripes. His coat was groomed so clean he almost looked Silver. Just thought I would share the story.

Whoo, how exciting! I've gotten to pet a few baby tigers, but never an adult. I did, however, get to go behind the scenes at the Houston Zoo thanks a friend of mine and see the tigers back behind the exhibit.

It is very exciting to be up close to these AWESOME cats isn't it?
Man my heart was racing being up close to this monster. Knowing at any time if he shows any type of aggression he could kill me in a instant. When you get up close to a Tiger their beauty takes your breath away.

I have often thought about getting into becoming a Tiger handler. I absolutely love this animal.

I think I have heard of that one before. Brian McNeil has a school for Big Cat training. I have often thought about going to his school. But I am very busy with my current profession.
But who knows I am the type that always trys to pursue something I really want to do. Being around Tigers would be awesome!!!

Wow! They are so awe inspiring. Once when I was a kid, the zoo in Singapore had baby leopard cubs. One day they had a publicity day and let the public get up close to them. I got to hold a baby leopard! Always remembered that experience!

I got to pet a young tiger once through Ray Thunderhawk's Big Cat Rescue. I wanted to kiss him on the nose too, but the handler pulled me back.

FYI - Ray Thunderhawk will not allow any of his big cats to be declawed.

The Tiger was in a good mood. Mike said "Hercules" (the Tigers name) is pretty aggressive when it comes to strangers touching him. But at times when he gets in a relaxing mood he will tolerate SOME people petting him. I am glad he let me pet him.
Nothing will give you a bigger andrenline rush petting a animal 10 1/2 feet in length over 600lbs.
Petting the most feared predator and the most supreme land killer is one of the ultimate rushes.

Wow! How Cool! Isn't that kinda dangerous with these big cats being unpredictable? I read about that girl up north who was killed by a big cat. I know she was taking pictures with it but I also think John(Amberthebobcat) said she was sitting on its back.

What an experience to have though!!!!
