My kitty JJ is 7 months, the other one Julius is 2 years. They always play together and sometimes the older one will hiss at the youngen cause he is being too rough. Just today I was holding Julius and felt something hard on the back of his right thigh. It was a wound that had scabbed and is now healing. I know JJ probably bit him there a little too hard because he is always nipping at that same area on either left or right side. They totaly adore each other. They sleep together, groom each other at the same time all the time, eat out of the same bowl, and meow out loud if they cant find one another. I know its not a territory or aggression thing. So, Im just wondering what to do to encourage JJ not to play so rough. this might be an impossible undertaking, but it never hurts to ask.

Sounds like Julius is very tolerant of his younger brother! It is typical for a kitten to have so much energy and be a bit of a pain in the ass for the older one. When our Wiggies gets like that with Pushy, I seperate them for a while for a "time out" to let things settle down a bit.
It's interesting to me that the bigger guy will put up with this. When you know he could just turn around and squash the little pest! It's nice that they get along so well.
