Here we go again. This on is heading towards the gulf.......again. Mother Nature sure has been a biatch this season.

My mom moved to Florida's gulf coast a few years ago and now she's done. She plans on moving to Georgia.

My brother and his wife were looking at property in Florida last year. I told him then he might want to re-think that
.

Hopefully the gulf has cooled down a bit and it won't be QUITE so bad this time, although at the speed the thing's moving now (2mph) that is rather a moot point.

Wilma... I just picture Fred Flintstone banging on the door yelling WIIIIIILLLLMAAAA! trying to let him back in, after their pet "cat" locks him out.

Hopefully Wilma won't turn into a monster & will bypass everyone.

Puerto Rico... land of rice and beans.
This has tied the 1933 record for tropical storms and hurricanes. Which means we have depleted the list of named hurricanes for 2005. If we have another named storm prior to the end of the year, we will break the all time record for number of storms in one season and we will have to go to the Greek Alphabet. Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Epsilon, etc. Let's just hope we don't end up at Omega.

I'm really hoping this one doesn't come smack us in Louisiana again. (Not that I would wish it on anyone else!) We had Katrina bap us on the eastern border, and Rita bap us on the western border. All it would take is a smack right up the middle to pretty much finish us off. I keep hearing that the ocean is rising to cover the gulf coast wetlands, but I didn't expect it to all happen at once.
