Ever since we got her about 4 months ago, our Mimi has had itchy ears/neck.
As suggested by our vet, we apply a few drops of "ear cleaner" in her ears every now and then (she hates it!). We also bathe her about once a week with pet shampoo, and we recently started spraying the house with anti-flea spray. But she still scratches.
Furthermore, I'm concerned that the ear cleaner may be poisonous if she gets it in her mouth during her cleaning routine. The stuff has a strong chemical odor.
Any suggestions?
By the way, for those of you who followed my earlier posts, Mimi is fully recovered from her rough spay operation 11 days ago and subsequent loss of appetite. I had her stitches removed a few days ago.
