I went out to my dad's farm today and snapped some pics of 3 of his 7 lovely kitties. They are such happy cats...they have a 100 acre farm, a nice house, 3 barns, and not a busy road in sight.

Checkerhead with Max the Pomeranian

Little Callie, Checkerhead's sister...they look exactly alike.

A close-up of Callie's pattern...she's got black tabby spots instead of solid black or brown tabby.

Cleo, the pretty tuxie

Carlos, Dave, Snowball and Truman are the other farm kitties, but I didn't get a chance to take their pictures.

Thanks.

Yeah, they live in kitty heaven. Before they moved out to the farm, they were all hissy and p!ssy with each other, 7 cats on a 2 acre wooded lot and house. They are MUCH happier now...they even snuggle together!
Callie and Checks are indentical except for their markings. They are little clones of their mother (Big Callie, RB). They even act almost the same.

Next time I go out there I will get pictures of the boys.

Where is WV is the farm? I am from Keyser in the Eastern Panhandle. They look in "Almost Heaven" in the pictures!

Sounds like a cat's paradise. They both look like they mean business in those photos! I'm thinking the little Pomeranian doesn't stand a chance!

Oh, the panhandle is such a pretty place.

The farm is in the far north corner of Putnam County, after you go 5 miles on a one lane road, and another mile after the pavement ends. "You might be a redneck if...." lol It's beautiful, but it's WAY out in the sticks. Perfect place for outdoor kitties...they don't have to wear their invisible fence collars anymore and they LOVE it.

Callie and Checks are kind of timid, but they do want attention sometimes and get really serious about it. lol
Actually, the cats really like dogs, so they don't beat up on Max too much. He figured out pretty quick that they can whip him. He beats up on his buddy the Rottie/Lab mix to make up for it. lol

Isn't it great?? hehe Well, she sort of named herself, with that pattern on her head!
My dad wanted to give her a good proper kitty name, but my brother kept calling her "the checkerheaded kitten" and it stuck.
