Hi, could someone offer some advice.
We have taken our cat to the vet last saturday.
He gave her a number of vaccinations at once including
a nasal vaccine (5 in total).
She is an indoor cat and has never been out.
On Thursday she started sneezing and seems a little bit poorly.
Having read the web sites I am finding it hard to believe she
has picked up the cat Herpes virus at the vets. One Cornell
University site describes sneezing as a mild reaction to a
nasally administered vaccine 3-4 days after the vacination.
Does anyone else have experience of this? The vet says that it
is not related to the vaccine and she may have caught a cold
and we should go back if it doesn't stop in a day or so.
I have to say, he doesn't seem too well informed and I now question
his wisdom in administering such a vaccine cocktail to a totally indoor
cat (this was the first time we went to him).
If anyone has experience of this then it would be good to know,
we are getting worried.
Many thanks
Jason
