My Siamese going bald around eye!!!

2 vet clinics told me that she probably has herpes because of the sore eye. They said it would be sore and she might get sick but they didn't say she'd go bald around the eye and they never tested her for herpes. Anyone had a cat loose hair around the eye to where it's completely pink, no hair. Now the vet wants me to come back in, won't tell me if this happens to cat w/herpes. Anyone?

What other symptoms does she have? Are her eyes runny/green?

Is she itchy???...could be domodex.......

bringing her back to the vet is a good idea...

My cat has herpes and a really bad corneal ulcer (has had it since I got him as a kitten)and he hasn't gone bald there. There are some different drops we've used to treat the eyes. If she is pawing at it a lot that might be why. But she shouldn't be pawing at b/c she could be making it worse. Definitely bring her in. My other cat has less hair by his ears on each side but the vet said that was normal.
