My Cats Lips Are Hairless?!? Huh?

I noticed my cat marmite last night had little pink lips. Becasue she is all black normally her lips are too....seems strange? what could be the reason???

I dont really want to take her to the vet unless its neccessary as her sister cost me a fortune last week!

She seems to be eatting, drinking and playing fine, shes acting normal as usual.

I know its not quite the same but when my cats immune system is weak his usually pink nose turns white. Could be a similar thing. It kinda like a human getting a cold. I would'nt bother taking the cat to the vets if everything else is looking normal. You could try giving the cat 500mg of Lysine a day crushed up into his food. This helps to boost his immune system and fight off any infections.

I know domodex will cause the hair around the eyes to fall out, but I am not sure about around the mouth........

Do you know if thekid has been ichy in that area at all?

Its seems beta now, however she is licking a lot. thought maybe she might have caught a wasp and it might of stung her.
