Hey all, as I mentioned earlier I am from India and over here we are having a paucity of good cat food. Recently the cat food shelf in the pet store has been replaced by a tiny corner lined with only Whiskas. And as you guys mentioned Whiskas is giving my kitty diahorrea and so since last few weeks she is on home food.

Anyway, now coming straight to the point, my Aunt from Houston(TX,usa) is coming to visit us at the end of this month. I have requested her to get loads of Royal Canin cat food. But as she has zero knowledge regarding all this, she has asked me to give the exact name and type and label of the cat food. I am assuming Royal Canin has different varieties for different cats. Can you please suggest me which one exactly should I get for my 3months old female stray calico adopted from the spca? Also what is the largest pack size available and whats the price?

Also, any other cool kitty accessories that I can ask my aunt to bring?

thanks.

I would feed her Royal Canin Outdoor formula if it were me. Your aunt needs to know about the weight of these foods though. Bringing you a lot of cat food is going to cost her. I know that after 50# in luggage weight they start charging (the airlines). Also check with Customs prior to her arriving to be sure this is okay to do.

You can also ask your aunt to ship it weeks ahead of her trip. That way, she won't be burdened with possible overweight fees.

For a 3 months old? I'd feed RC Kitten at least until 6 months.

I don't know about the cat food per se, but I would reccomend she get you a zoom groom. Its a purple rubber grooming thing that works great. I don't know if you have those there.
