These adoptees will bring you many years of love and joy. Most of my cats have been adopted from a shelter or ones I rescued myself. Welcome! Nice to meet you!

All in all I think things are happening the way they are supposed to. They are eating and using the litterbox so I can't complain. I can't wait until the day they decide to hang around in the same room with me.
Ha ha, If he's checking out the bed already, you should be just fine.. He'll be hogging it next!

Hi Matt, my family welcomes you to TCS!

We have a pair of brothers that we adopted from a local rescue. I think it makes it easier for a cat to get used to a new place if there's a familiar companion. Spike and Cotton adjusted really quickly.

I'm sure your very handsome Luke and Foster will settle in soon.

It will take awhile for them to get into their routine, but I think that as they settle in, you'll start having company in everything you do.

Hi everyone, Figured I would give you a little update on my boys. They seem to be happy here. Regular use of the food, water and litterbox. I see them around more often when I'm home. Sometimes when I'm sitting at the computer or reading in bed I'll turn my head and there they will be sitting there watching me.

They still, however, do not allow me near them. If I get too close Foster will run to has favorite spot on top of the fridge and Luke will run under the bed. Hopefully they will get over this in time. I don't care if they never become lap cats (which I seriously doubt will happen, just not in their nature) But I would like to pet them once in a while. It's only been a couple weeks so we'll see how things go. It's just frustrating a little bit is all.

It is fun to watch them play together or just chill together on my bed or on the blanket in my closet. Makes me real glad I got both of them.

I have some pictures up Here for those that might be interested in seeing them.

They are lovely and seem very settled. It takes a while, but they will learn to trust. One day you will be sitting there and you will be treated to the breakthrough - a headbutt from one of you furbabies
