I don't know what it is, but every now and then I just get in really reflective, and emotional (in a good way) kind of mood and I just feel incredibly grateful for all the good things in my life - my family, which includes the cats of course, my friends, a job I love (most of the time), just everything. Then, I start feeling like I want to go around hugging everybody and tell them how much they mean to me, etc... Does that sound totally weird or does anyone else ever feel that way?

I do have days like that a lot, where I wake up thinking "I love my life so much" and feel sooo loved and love sooo much. It helps when Cupid's licking or pawing at my face--how could you not love your life when you are loved by a cat?

I think it's just indicative of a balanced life. I read about it in a magazine once.

Or your manic...lol just kidding....i have been through alot in my life and find that i feel that way all of the time. I often think about how my life was 5 years ago and how unhappy i was compaired to now. Its good that we can do that...if your not happy there isnt really anything else to life =0)

I think its great when people can be like that...its better to hear someone that loves life than someone that complains ALL the time about life!

Aw, how nice. I really feel lucky sometimes, too. I think it is more likely if you really had it hard in the past to appreciate how good you have it.

I do have times where I feel lucky - lucky to be alive (I've encountered death diue to serious health probs and I see it weekly so like the song by John Denver (sue me, I like "sappy" singers,
), "it's nice to hang around" or something to that effect.

I also feel blessed by the family I have, by work I enjoy and even love and by my babies -YY and the Sphynx Girls.

There are days mind you I think it's all gone to hell but fortunately, those do ot occur too often.

Happens to me, too. Really no explanation for it, but I don't think it's such a bad thing to go around hugging your loved ones and telling them how much they mean to you. Of course, they may suggest a trip to the clinic to have you checked out.....but....hey, they'll know you love them for it!
