My baby has been sneezing for 3 days now. At first it was a constant sneeze but now it's not as often but she's still sneezing. Her eyes are watery but no thick discharge. Her breathing his fine and she's eating and drinking ok. Other than the sneezing and watery eyes she seems normal. I've been reading other posted threads and they mentioned upper respiratory problems but my cats breathing is fine. I guess I'm wondering if I should be concerned or let it run it's course.

Sneezing and watery eyes are always a concern. However since the discharge is clear, she is breathing fine and eating and drinking normally I would not panic. Keep an eye on her and in case something changes for the worse take her in to see your Vet!

Hope your baby is feeling better soon

my cat did the same stuff and had an upper respiratory infection. Doctor gave me some medicine and it was better within a few days.

I wouldn't wait very long to have my cat checked out if the sneezing problems continue.

There's no place like home
I have about 7 cats sneezing right now and the only one I brought into the vets is the one that got lethargic, wouldn't come out to eat, and kept himself isolated. If their appetite decreases, if they aren't drinking water, or get generally lethargic, get to a vet. Most URI's are viral based and medicine doesn't help them. Some URI's weaken their systems enough for them to pick up a bacterial infection that should be treated with antibiotics. Vets prescribe antibiotics simply to ward off opportunistic bacterial infections.

When you have a cold, you get out the vaporizor, drink plenty of fluids and get rest. Do the same with your baby and it should help, but watch out for the danger signs.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Please take your baby to the Vet for an exam so she can be properly treated. If Sierra or Serenity sneezed once, I'd have them at the Vet before the day was out. URI's are nothing to mess around with.

Thanks for the advice. It's day 4 and still sneezing but her eyes aren't watering anymore. That may be because I changed the air filter last night (it was mighty dusty up there) or it's the baby food I've been feeding her. She loves that Gerber chicken and chicken gravy.

I made an appointment with the vet for Monday. In case she gets better I can cancel. I will keep an eye on her.
