Where my cats are
Why is it that when I decide to work out I suddenly become a fascinating cat toy?

I've been doing Pilates. Whenever I do, the cats (esp Noodles) will decide to lay down under, next to, or on top of me! Then they go for my hair when it's moving.

Tonight I was moving my arms and Noodles was batting my hand and bobing her head with it's movements!
Then I was doing an exercise on my tummy and she went and sat down on my back! I didn't ask for extra weight! I have enough built in! Silly cat!

I have a work out room and I just shut the door! I've tried to do it with Cupid in there, but it won't work! Especially when I'm doing a machine because I'm afraid I'll kick him, drop something on him, he'll get smooshed in something, et cetera.

I guess the good thing is you'll never have to work out alone.

I used to do yoga. Pushkin liked to join in for the "cat pose"!

My boys do exactly the same thing when I'm trying to do my own pilates workouts
Sometimes, when I'm doing the exercises you do on your back, they'll lie on their backs and streeeetch out too. So funny!

My cats also love to help me when i exercise. I don't mind for the most part, except when I'm bent forward (downward facing dog in yoga) and either cat insists that I rub her butt! Well, I let me just say......their butt is usually at my nose level!!

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Boy, do I understand!
I do Yoga, and obviously require the assistance of my girls in order to do so! Sierra wants to sit on me, and Serenity thinks I'm moving just so she can attack my hands and feet!
I love my girls, how could I ever accomplish anything without them!

i know what you mean

once i was doing tai bo, while keeping my eye's peeled for cats, i was sure they were not around and started the front kick back kick, next think i connected with something furry, closely followed by a noise that sounded like 'oompfff' , it was bonnie, luckily that exersize isn't a very fast one so she just got a little bump, boy did i get the evils though! she gave me a very annoyed look, shook her head and walked away

pandy sometimes attacks me when i'm exersizing, she goes for the feet, hair and fingers

the most annoying has to be anassa my dog, she had to be banned from the lounge while i was doign tai bo because she'd jump along with me, jump up on me, bite my hands and lick my feet

LOL!! They just get SOOO interested when you do anything at all different, don't they? They just HAVE to be a part of it, too.

When Max does Yoga we have to shut the cats out of the room cos they just drive him nuts, not to mention the risk of them getting a foot in the head or something, they go so close...lol
