YES!! YY has the pink one and she and the Sphynx girls love to go for rides. Had to add her is not identical - it is another model, larger and it can convert into a carrier. One of my neighbours has one for her dashounds. They look cute too!

Awwwww.... no kidding? I would love to have one but my girls start crying as soon as I take them outside of their territory, i.e., "my" apartment.

When I was a kid, we had a cat we dressed in baby clothes and rode him around in our doll carriage.

Several TCS member use strollers & just love them. Do a search in this forum ... there a several very informative threads about the pros & cons of using a stroller.
Tim (coaster) made one that is really cool. If you can't find the photo of it in your search ...PM him.
I'm sure he will send a link to it.

That's the one I've been thinking about getting as a carrier! I don't see it on the website anymore though.

Cute but would look pretty stupid here in the city.

(especially if a guy is walking it)

I think Oliver would freak out if I tried it and theyre not all that cheap, haha... he's not one for leaving the apartment and I've tried several times to harness him and take him out on the deck for some sun, but I think he thinks I'm just gonna let him go again... glad it works for some of you though!

A friend of mine took her cats out in one of these and was attacked by dogs !! The stroller was shredded and her cats hid for days. Thankfully her injuries were minor and her cats weren't harmed. Be careful if there are a lot of strays in your area !

YIKES! What a horrific experience - so relieved to read that the cats were unharmed & your friend not seriously hurt.
But as for someone thinking that a guy shouldn't wheel one of those in the city - Are You Serious???!! that thing would be a real CHICK-MAGNET!
The cats would attract lots of extra attention, and let's face it, we ladies often PREFER a man comfortable & confident in his sexuality, as wheeling cats in a carriage would demonstrate! In fact, that contraption should be featured in Mens Fitness, in their section about improving the love life!

I love this one...esp with it being closer to the ground!
It gave me an idea for making something that might work more like a pet tote on wheels with a wagon pull...that might be easier to use for vet trips, as far as not havingto fold down in the back seat.
I we get it made, and it works out...I`ll let you know!

Well, I don't know about the "chick magnet" part, but in my experience I've had nothing but positive reaction from people who see me when I'm giving the kitties their buggy ride.

And I have to also caution against pet strolling in a neighborhood where there are loose dogs. There's just no way you can fend off dogs and prevent the kitties from freaking out with probable harm to yourself and your cats. Fortunately, we have a leash law here that is enforced.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
I have one. i love it. JoJo and Jack... only when i can coax them both in it. They're rather shy. I got mine here:

Drs Foster and Smith

I have the SUV size. Not cheap, but for those with more than one cat, it's better. I wish they'd had the Double Decker when I bought mine. I'd have gotten that one instead. Maybe someday when I get my picture book published, I'll upgrade to the Double Decker. I do leave the carrier open and sitting on the floor. They like sleeping in it. The just don't like it when I close it with them inside.

As for the 'chick magnet' comment. After meeting so many guys who say they're 'allergic' to cats (and me highly doubting most of them), it would be nice to see a guy out there 'walking' his cats. It would be refreshing. A good-cat-lovin' guy is hard to find. At least for me.

Oooo, that one's much cheaper. Maybe I'll buy that and if she hates it, I'm only out $30, not $130.

I seen one on sale yesterday at Petsmart and really want one now - I could take Bumps to work with me
The poor thing would be traumatised though - he loses his fur if I take him outside anywhere!

I had a cat too named Cindy that I would dress up in baby clothes and push her around in my sisters stroller, and she would fall asleep.
Whats funnier to me is that I just saw my kids do it to Buddy in their toy stroller, and he loved it!!!!!!!!

I will probably try it!
Not sure if he'll stay in it, but we will see.
