I am new here and also just got my first two cats this weekend...I have been busy doing kitten rescues all year at my place of employment due to a large group of feral cats in the warehouses here. I have saved 16 kittens this year and my husband is actually allergic to them, but we just bought a house and have plenty of room to build a large enclosure for them in the backyard, so I was able to talk him into letting me keep two of my little rescue babies...a lady from my work had been bottle feeding the litter of 4 and they turned 8 weeks old yesterday. Saturday I was finally able to bring them home. I took them for their first shots and worming and they are doing just great. They are Bailey, a male solid orange tiger striped tabby and his sister, Abby, who is white with orange tiger striped spots.

Welcome....glad to read you are saving kittens, but I do hope there are plans to have the adults spayed/neutered. Below is a list of TNR groups in California:

Here is also a list of low cost spay clinics in CA:

You need to have it displayed as a link. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/cmaddux/my_photos

Your babies are absolutely darling. I'm so glad you found a way to keep them when your husband is allergic.

Welcome.
