She made it through the night!

I however
I was so worried about her I barely slept.

She still hasn't gained any weight, but they are going to start feeding her every two hours now. She is awake and active.

NOW he says that the critical day is the third day. I'm never going to get any sleep.
If things go well I get to take her home on Sat, if they are worried, I may have to wait until Monday.

But I'll go visit her today! I'm really excited.

I won't go into all the reasons I foster, but I did inform my Very Sleepy bf that I get to keep this one and enjoy her for a little while at least. I want her fat and healthy before she goes up for adoption.

YAY!! It sounds like your vet and the staff are just wonderful!

I had to show her to my co-worker who is also a cat lover. So add one more to those sending good vibes and prayers to little Jane.

I suspect that you are an angel in a human body. You have my admiration & deepest respect.

Tee hee, I know so many people who would disagree with you on that.
I actually tend more towards being an imp.

But thank you! I do feel very strongly about my kittens, that's for sure. Thank you to everyone for the continued vibes! This little kitten sure has a lot of people rooting for her.

I'm visiting her in about 2 hours! I can't wait.

So pleased she is still here, I think she is enough of a fighter to pull through. I hope she finds an excellent forever home, she really does deserve it.

I'm happy to hear she pulled through the OP, and am keeping my fingers crossed for her. How's James doing now?

James is doing REALLY well. He's still not 100% 'normal'. He tends to run in circles more than he intends to (like when he's trying to run away) and he can now climb and jump, but he doesn't land very well (thankfully I don't have much for him to climb on). Other than that he is running and playing and wrestling like most normal kittens. Well, I have to be slow with the feather toy or his head just spins.

I'm going to try and get him adopted with Francis as two Special Needs boys who don't need medication or anything, just a little extra care. Thankfully, Francis seems to be understanding the litter box more and more each day - which will make adoptions easier.

Oy vey! I love them all, but after this, LONG BREAK time.

It does sound like this is a challenging crew. Good luck and I'm praying that Jane continues to improve.

Well, when I called to check in I talked to one of the receptionists who said she was "doing great" and then when I asked if she'd gained any weight said she "lost a few ounces".

Which to me seems like it would be a bad thing - but I am no vet, so I have no idea what is expected. If she is eating and pooping - maybe it's ok.

I hope he calls me back and explains it all to me!

Well, at least she is eating and pooing. If she can eat and poo ok, I would think she should begin to improve rapidly. I am still praying for her. Hugs and thanks for keeping us informed.

Hopefully, maybe she just poo'd before she ate? Maybe that would account for the couple of ounces. Sure glad she's ok so far!

I just caught this thread. Vibes and good thoughts for Jane. She is so sweet. Hope she recovers.
How old is she?
