Well, that was smart!

I feel so stupid right now.

Yesterday, I cleaned up my whole apartment, including the floors. I also made a fresh batch of homemade rat food. I left the rat food on top of the cage (as usual) in a plastic container. I couldn't find the lid for it so I just left it like that.

This morning, I decide to look for my fleece jacket before I leave for school. I was sure it was in the plastic storage bin under the rat cage. So I moved the rat cage (which isn't easy... it's very big). Of course, I forgot about the rat food on top and as soon as I tip the cage a little, the plastic container goes flying and the rat food ends up all over the floor.

Which means that I now have to clean the floor again, make more rat food and best of all... my fleece jacket wasn't in that plastic bin.

I have to go to school now. I'll clean up this mess later.

Well, that's a good way to start the day. It's all uphill from here, right?
