I won the auction on Sunday and paid same day. I should be receiving it tomorrow. Great bargain even if the shipping was costly. I paid about $87 for it total. I will let you know what the cats think of it.

I just bought my 2nd tree from Ebay & just received it 5 minutes ago

I can't wait to put it together!! Having a crew of 7, I felt it would be better for them to have a 2nd tree...more levels and more room.

Hope you enjoy your tree as much as I'm enjoying mine!

I had looked at these on ebay.. But it said shipping would be $86.00?? Thats more then the cat tree cost. Is that what you paid for the shipping? I want one but not if it cost that much for shipping.

Yes, but these cat trees would cost $300 at a pet store!

I have priced smaller trees at PetsMart and they were over $100. This one retails for $299, so I think I got a bargain. The price I paid included sales tax, shipping and insurance. Shipping depends on where you live. I live in the same state as the seller, so my cost was lower, but if someone lives clear across the country, then it will be more to ship. The email from FedEx stated that is weighs 66 lbs, so that adds to the cost.

I leave for work at about 11am, so I sure hope it comes before I leave! My hubby will be here tho. He has instructions to NOT open the package until I get home! LOL

I think they are pressed board. I have a 5ft one and a 7ft. I have had the 5 foot for over a year and it is still in great condition!!! They love the new 7ft one. I got them from Aerocat on ebay!!! They are so worth it!!!

The cat tree arrived today while I was at work. Fast shipping! I won the auction on Sunday and paid thru paypal, and it was shipped yesterday. My hubby said that it arrived at about 6:30 tonight. I took just over an hour to assemble, with much arguing between the hubby and me. It is very heavy and made of pressed board, not solid wood but is of a good quality. The cats don't know quite what to think but they will probably warm up to it later. I will take pics this weekend and post them.

I just bought one as well from Aeracat (sp?) on Ebay too. Mine's 77 inches and cost 92 altogether with shipping. DEFINATLEY cheaper than you'd get at the pet stores. I'm thinking of buying another one in a month or so and putting them both together.
