One of my neighbors stopped by and gave me some organic kitty treats she'd baked!

She said she baked some to get one of her cats to eat it's pills, and since she made so many gave some to me and the other woman in this building with cats. She said my kitties were her friends since they always say hi to her.
(My girls like to hang out by the kitchen window and chat with people who pass by).

Ok, so I don't actually live in Los Angeles, but one of many cities swallowed up by it, still! You always hear about how unfriendly and mean people are around here... It's not always true!

I might have to ask for her recipe, they smelled so good that I had to taste them
it tasted kinda like fish bread.

More importantly though, my girls really liked it too! (They've been known to try and bury treats they deem offensive)

Gee, when I lived there, everyone was friendly and helpful. Sad to think it has changed so much that all Angelinos are lumped into an unfriendly can.

Maybe I'm just hyper sensative, I'm born and raised in the area and it seems that both strangers and friends from other areas are always happy to tell me what is wrong with LA/why they don't like it, etc. I like it here for the most part!
