The Philadelphia Animal Care & Control Association (PACCA) has a job opening for a community programs manager. This position will be primarily responsible for all aspects of special and community based events and programs including adoptions, foster care, volunteer, rescue placements, working with the veterinary community and other shelters, and spay/neuter clinics. It is a new position, created as a result of an evaluation of operations by No Kill Solutions completed this year.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create a foster care and volunteer program from the ground up, and expand offsite and special event opportunities going forward. He or she will play an integral role in working with the Alliance for Philadelphiaâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s Animals, rescue groups, government, the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary College, private practice veterinarians, the Pennsylvania SPCA and a whole host of other agencies to end the killing of homeless dogs and cats in the city.

In addition, the successful candidate has unlimited access to advice, support and guidance from No Kill Solutions as a result of an agreement between PACCA and No Kill Solutions.

In early 2005, PACCA and the Alliance hired No Kill Solutions to do a complete assessment of operations and put together a No Kill plan for the City. After only a few short months, killing has already been reduced by nearly 30% and continues to decline. The future looks very bright indeed…

Be a part of one of the most exciting renaissances in lifesaving in the U.S. today.
