Presently I have an 8 month old-female cat called Peggy. Peggy got fixed 2 months ago. He mother just had another litter and I would like to have another cat as a companion for Peggy. Shall I pick a female or male? Or does it really matter if they are introduced properly.

Truthfully.....it doesn't matter if it is female or male...what you want to look for is that their personalities get along. Is Peggy UTD on shots?? Perhaps the owner would allow Peggy to meet the kittens to see who she gets along best with.

Hi Katie,
Yes! Peggy is UTD on her shots. Great suggestion! The owner is my sister and she is so good about exploring the kittens personalities. I will take Peggy over to her house today. Thank you very much!!
