the are heathly and clean and use litter tray but they will not eat
i have tried everything.

do you think it could be the dry kitten food with supplement milk mixed together they don't like and do you think it would be ok to put them on wet foods

the kittens are 5-6 weeks old

p.s mums not helping as she calls them to feed of her all the time so they are never hurgry should i separted them

Do you need them to wean this soon? We let our kittens decide on their own when they want to try solid foods. Some start as early as 4 weeks and I've seen others go to 6 eeks before even trying solids. Since we feed a raw diet, there is never a problem getting the kittens to eat once they are interested in doing so.

If you need to coax them now, then you should try the wet foods.

Kittens can start to wean around that age...but many people suggest allowing the kittens to still have access to mom even when they begin to eat solid food. Is there a particuliar reason you want them to stop going to mom?? Kittens are recommended to be placed around 8-12 weeks of age. As long as mom remains indoors only, she can be spayed once the kittens have been placed.

Yes give them wet food instead of dry, try chicken baby food too that seems to work well. Also let them feed of momma cat as long as they like, mine are 5 months old and still trying to get milk LOL Missy rarely lets them though.

My kitties will be 8 weeks old on Tuesday and still nurse some. Sissy will call them and they come running. It is getting to be not as much tho. The kits eat both dry and moist everyday
